Reading skills are improved through daily practice. Every student should read for at least 20
minutes a day, just for fun. Self selected reading not only improves reading skills, but written
expression as well.
Parents: If your child is telling you that he or she has no homework, give him or her chores to
do around the house. THEN you will see the homework come out of the backpack!
Attention seniors: Scholarships are available and attached on the Grasso website. Check it out
and good luck!
Newsflash: Juniors, SAT exams require vocabulary proficiency and an essay linking two pieces of
literature. We will be working on these skills this year to improve your literacy score!
