Drawing II

In this class we will delve into a deeper understanding of the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Students will be required to keep and maintain a personal sketchbook along with their own drawing utensils. As it is my goal with this class to not only explore various techniques and mediums, as drawing is more than pencil and paper, the primary focus will be for students to develop and heighten their artistic eye and personal style. As this is my second year of teaching I had to complete my BEST portfolio. I chose to use as my portfolio class, one of my Drawing II classes. The focus of the lesson was on Sequential Art, which is two or more pictures telling a visual story. It if most often seen in the form of Comic Books and the Sunday Funny pages although the graphic novel is becoming very popular with today's younger readers. I wanted to share with you my student's very own sequential art projects. Please enjoy them!
