This page is to help you find good books to read.
Follow these steps, and you are sure to find a book that appeals to you.
1. Check our Destiny Online Resource Catalog.
There are six ways to conduct your search:
Keyword; Title; Author; Subject; Series; One Search
2. There are also great suggestions on the Newbery Medal Winners poster
in our Media Center.
3. You might want to check out other Award Winners.
4. You also can find great book reviews by teens and lists of good reads by clicking on the
Teens Reviews Page button on the left.

Once you have found a title that sounds interesting, check to see that it is in our collection. Make sure you are in the correct section of the Media Center. We have six major sections:
FICTION, BIOGRAPHY, REFERENCE, MAGAZINES, AUDIO BOOKS, REFERENCE
Remember, titles in the fiction section are in alphabetical order by the author's last name.
Now, all that is left to do is check out your selection. Books may be checked out for 2 weeks. If you haven't finished reading your book in that amount of time, you may renew the book. If you didn't find the title you were looking for, see Mrs. Shea. If it is not in our Harborside collection, an Interlibrary Loan may be requested.
