| For the months of March & April first grade will complete an introductory
unit in hockey and participate in cooperative game. Some skills learned in
hockey will be dribbling a puck with control, passing to a partner and
shooting with accuracy.
Second grade will be finishing their hockey unit and begin working on
volleyball skills. A few skills they will learn will be a set, bump and
pass. Their unit will end with a modified game.
Third grade will begin a hockey unit and finish in April with cooperative
games.
Fourth and fifth grade will be ending their units on basketball and begin
their hockey unit.
Teamwork, good sportsmanship and following game rules will be monitored and
expected during game activities.
