What if I turn my work in late to Mrs. Ekstrom?
The Fifth Grade core teachers have agreed that assignments turned in late (unexcused tardiness/absence) will incur a reduction in score. There will be a 5 point reduction in points for a maximum of three days. At this point, it is the teacher's discretion to contact the student's family to discuss possible ways to complete the missing assignment as a zero could be the result. This applies to all assignments (homework, classwork, or projects). Note: Students with IEP or 504 accomodations will be graded according to specific student needs.Back to Top
