I have been married to my husband, Wayne, for thirty-eight years and we
have two married daughters, Kelly and Meagan, who have given
us four beautiful grandchildren. Our older daughter, Kelly, and her
husband, Todd, have two little girls, Madison, who is seven years old
and her little sister, McKenna, who is four. Our younger daughter,
Meagan, and her husband, Bob, have a little boy, Michael, who is five and a
beautiful little girl, named Emma Grace, who is almost two years old.
Family and friends are very important to me. I have a wonderfully funny
and supportive group of friends and a terrific family.
My graduate education includes a Masters of Science Degree in Reading
and Language Arts with a concentration in reading consultation, and I have
been teaching at Horace W. Porter for 21 years. I spent three years here at
HWP teaching 5th grade language arts.
I believe that everyone should find his/her passion in life. Passion
makes our lives full and meaningful. One of my passions has been teaching.
