You can expect homework from the regular education classroom or the Resource
Room Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. (Some regular
education teachers also give homework for the weekend.) These assignments
should take about 15-30 minutes to do. Please refer to the Student Handbook
for the number of minutes suggested for your child's grade.
An additional 15 minutes should be used for PLEASURE reading. This means that
material should be interesting and easy for the student to read
independently. Pleasure reading should be encouraged daily; including
weekends, holidays, and vacations.
