Mission For The Class

This course will focus on world events from the 1800's to the present, with 
special emphasis on the growth of the political, economic, and social 
institutions of Europe. The course will begin with the French revolution and 
move through the Industrial revolution, imperialism, Unification of Germany 
and Italy, World War I,Russian revolution, World War II, Cold War, modern 
revolutions, the breakup of the superpowers, and the changing contemporary 
world.
