Oral projects-French Provinces

 

From the list of provinces below, choose one to research. You will be working individually or in pairs only. You will be sharing your research with the class via a powerpoint project.  The following is a list of what is to be included in your report.

 

1.  A map of France with your province shaded

 

2.  A map of the province itself (with cities, rivers, mnts etc.)

 

3.  A short history of the province

 

4.  What French products are produced in your province?  (at least 3)

 

5.  Famous cities; including the capital  (and why)

 

6.  Customs and traditions peculiar to that region

7. List of sources: websites visited, pictures, music...

8.  You must prepare a handout of important points you want the class to remember as you will be tested on it.  The handout must include: 1) the name of the province, 2) capital of the province, 3)  3 products produced in your province

 

9.  You will be graded according to the rubric. Read it carefully to assure a "bonne note"!

 

 It will be recorded as a test grade (positively no late projects!!)
