There are things you can do as a parent that will greatly enhance your child`s
experience and growth in music.
1. Get involved with the Band parent organization.
2. setup a practice place and time that is away from
other family members and won`t disturb them.
3. Purchase a metronome ( beat keeper ) and a small tuner.
4. If your child plays Flute, clarinet,
Trumpet, trombone,or saxophone it is better for them to
own their own instrument.
5. Using Smart Music software will make practicing much
more
comprehensible for your child and he/she will learn MUCH

6. Please understand that only students who maintain good
grades and practice will make it into the band and
once in must maintain all grades and practicing or they
can be pulled out until grades and performance levels
are satisfactory.
