Good Apples are given out for making good choices and/or demonstrating good
behaviors. Anyone can earn one; once an award is earned, the nominees are
celebrated during their lunch break and receive a Good Apple sticker and a
prize of their choice. Next, the paper version of their nomination is posted
on our Tree of Good Choices in the kindergarten wing. Last year, one second
grade child had this to say about receiving a Good Apple award; "The best
part about receiving a Good Apple award is when you hear your name called and
you are filled with pride." The next time you are at Live Oaks check out our
