Bee A Star - Behavior - Green/Yellow/Red

BEE A Star - School Wide Behavior System ~ GREEN, YELLOW, RED

The entire Mathewson Community uses
Green - Yellow - Red.  When your child needs to slow down, make better choice, follow school rules and expectations they will receive a verbal warning.  After a verbal warning then will then go to yellow.

Sometimes a yellow is also used to help the students remember to bring back homework and/or other assisgnments to school. It is used to help them become more aware and repsonsible for their materials. NO one should be getting overly emotional and upset over yellow.

The children will put a yellow post-it on their name tag and write down what behavior they did that needs to change or what the reminder is.  Yellow stickies then go home in their homework folder for the parents to discuss at home.

If your child gets on red a phone call or email will be sent.  Yellow just means we need to regroup and make better choices and be more responsible.

Every two weeks teachers hand in their data to our principal Mrs. Dixon.  Room 22 will have a Bee a Star awarded 2X a month (if deserved). NOT every child will receive the Bee A Star.

Congratulations to all Room 22's Stars!!!
