This is my 7th year at Mathewson, and my second year in 2nd grade! I've spent
5 amazing years as a 3rd grade teacher and loved my year in second grade last
year!
I went to UCONN for my undergraduate degree in Child Development (Go Huskies)
and Southern Connecticut State University for my graduate studies. I spent a
few years as the Human Resources Specialist for the Milford Board of Education
before I went back to school for my master's and teacher certification- the
best decision I've ever made!
I am a very lucky girl. I have a wonderful husband, Mike, who is a
captain on the Stratford Fire Department. I have a beautiful 5 year old
daughter named Megan and a 2 year old cutie named Jake. Megan is a very
active girl who keeps her Mommy on her toes and is starting kindergarten this
year! Jake is a very lovable little guy who loves to snuggle with his mommy.
In my spare time I love to read, go for walks, and scrapbook. I'm also an
expert baker in my family and am happy to share with my students.
I'm looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun!
