I am proud to be beginning my 13th year teaching at Mathewson. My first class
of students recently graduated high school! It's amazing how quickly time flies. I
have had the pleasure of teaching first and/ or second grade since I began as
a new teacher in 1999. Each of my students, past and present, hold a special
place in my heart.
I am the proud mom to six-year-old Ava and Andrew who at three, always keeps me on my toes.
I love spending time with my children, my family and friends. I am
blessed to have a wonderful extended family, long time friends and the BEST
colleagues anyone could ask for!
When I am not busy teaching, I love to read, bike and walk. My favorite place
to vacation is Disney although I must admit we had some great times at Lake
Compounce this summer.

I will encourage each child to do their own personal best and reach their full
potential!
I will look at each child as an individual and embrace them for their uniqueness!
