| Morning Meeting- Students join together to socially interact by sharing and discussing ideas, events, stories, and items, as well as asking questions and making comments. |
| Reading Workshop- Students participate in whole class reading of Anthology books, small guided reading groups using level specific books, various comprehension exercises, and SIR. |
| Writing Workshop- Students work as a class, in small groups, in partners, or at individual conferences to improve writing skills, expand ideas using multiple elaboration techniques, and edit and revise pieces of writing. |

| Recess- Please make sure that students come to school with weather appropriate attire! |
| Math- Students work on various activities such as Calendar Math, addition/subtraction, working with the hundreds chart, using money, telling time, geometry, measuring, and solving word problems. |
| Social Studies- Students are learning map skills as well as studying family life, communities, and traditions from around the world. |
| Science- Students are learning about weather, solids, liquids, gases, and animals. |
| Library- Students visit the library once a week for book selection, and once for a lesson. They are expected to return all borrowed materials on time. |
| PE, Art, Music- Students have Art once a week, and PE and Music twice a week. |
