Tuesday 2/14/12 - Finish essay by writing the next 2 body paragraphs and the
conclusion paragraph. Bring to class for peer edit.
Wednesday 2/15/12 - Revise and Rewrite the essay according to the feedback
from your peer editor. ESSAY, notes, report card all due to be handed in
completed on Thursday
Thursday 2/16/12 – ESSAY, notes, report card, graphic organizer all due to be
handed in.
Grade for project will include making these due dates. Materials will be
checked and points will be lost for not having the different parts of the

Welcome to 8th Grade!! Please take your text book home and cover it. You
can leave it there until I ask you to bring it in. You will mostly use it at
home.
Also, please get a spiral bound notebook to use as a reflection journal.
This will be used each day in class
Please read over the Course Information sheet that I gave you in class today
for other class materials and binder set up.
Tuesday 9/6/11 - Print out your Boston Information Packet from the MMS
website and give to a parent. You need to hold on to the roommate selection
page - and fill out one sheet for you and your roomies. You can hand it in
with just 2 names, we'll place you with another team of students to make a
room of 4. It is due Friday 9/9.
Have the medical forms filled out. They are due next Thursday 9/15.
And please remind your parent nicely that payment is due. Offer to do
something to offset the cost!! Be appreciative!!
** Take bullet notes on pages 582-585 on Immigration. You can write or type
your notes. You should have your name, the date and the pages of the text
book that the notes are from.
Write down the blue heading and then write 3 bullet notes for each blue
heading. They should represent 3 main ideas from the blue heading.

Familiarize yourself with the beliefs of your culture. Be ready to exchange

Thursday 9/8/11 - Writing about 1 page - discuss what you think makes a good
colony or a bad colony. Think about these things: Whap plans should be made
for a successful colony? What types of people would you want in your colony
and why? What should the goals of a colony be? What would make a colony
fail?
