way to prepare for this is to write what you would say for all three meals
and practice at home.

You can also do the other side of the sheet (wordsearch and finding the word
to match the English words on the side) by day three for extra credit.
That is two extra credit assignments that you can do for Day 3.
Bring in your "mochila" (backpack)to our next class and WE WILL PRACTICE WITH
THEM (for sure!)
Día 2:
Study your class vocabulary so that you can keep up in class. Use the words
on page 7 and your pictures to learn them. Bring your backpack to class next
class.
Día 3:
Prepare to ask questions about a mochila, and answer all in Spanish. Bring
your mochila (backpack) to class with at least 5 things on our vocabulary
list for school vocabulary inside, and multiple items of at least one thing
(example: 5 pencils). As well, you can include one “surprise” item.
The questions you will ask and answer are as follows:
Question #1: ¿Qué hay en tu mochila, _______” (What is in your backpack,
____?)
Answer: En mi mochila hay un/una/unos/unas _________, (then list the others)
y (this means “and”), un/una/unos/unas _____________.

This is a sorting sheet of class room vocabulary. Do not repeat items in any
of your three columns.

and writing the numbers in Spanish. Notice taht this page has two sides.
Día 3:Only one class meets three times this week (Period 7). You have
homework that is listed as Día 2. Be sure to study your class vocabulary so
that you know all the words. Bring in your "mochila" (backpack) next class
so that we can practice talking about things that are in it.
Día 1: Complete "crucigrama" (crossword) at home. Only fill out the words
we are learning from page 7. We will fill in words you haven't learned in
our next class.
Please bring your backpack (mochila) to class.
To practice the classroom vocabulary (from page 7 and your drawings), you can
go to the last link on the "Links" menu (called "Classroom objects and more,
Spanish"), and click on classroom objects near the bottom. You will then
click each Spanish word next to the picture to hear how it's pronounced in
Spanish.
On your drawing sheet, it is a good idea to color your images and practice
the words as you color each one. You will learn them much quicker this way.
Día 2:Please use the LAST LINK on the link page, "Classroom objects and more,
Spanish", to practice pronunciation of many of the words we are learning.
Also use your drawings and words from page 7 for the entire list of words.
Please fill out the "Participation" review tonight for next class. We are at
the end of the quarter, and you are evaluating what you did well and what
needs improvement.
As well, practice the Spanish alphabet. Try to spell your Spanish name and
last name out loud with the Spanish alphabet.
Día 3:Answer this question in Spanish "domingo" (what day is "domingo"?).
You'll have to count late at night after "trick or treat-ing":
¿Cuántos dulces tienes? (How many candies do you have?)
Can you write the answer in a complete sentence in Spanish?
10/18 - 22
1. Practice numbers 0-29 if you are not able to quickly say them. If you
already know them, review at home so that you don't forget.
Practice days of the week and the alphabet (both in your manuals on page 4).
Use the alphabet page to say the letters. AS WELL, be sure to practice
saying the alphabet on the link "The Alphabet in Spanish).
You should have already made your name tag, which is kept in your folder in
class.
2. Complete the Review Sheet that I handed to you in class. USE YOUR MANUAL
TO SPELL CORRECTLY. Write in complete sentences as much as you can.
3. Learn the classroom vocabulary on page 7 of your manual. If you color the
objects that you drew in class, you will be able to easier use the page that
you are writing to learn vocabulary.
Be sure to practice the alphabet by using the two link sites on my web page.
Also practice numbers by using the number links on the same web page.
10/12-16
Complete "Egghead" (Cabeza del huevo) for your last class of this week (Day
3). Be sure to follow directions on your revised direction sheet.
Practice the Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish.
Continue to study numbers 0-29, and days of the week.
Your Eggheads are due on the last class of this week (today if you only have
2 classes this week, the next class if you have 3 classes).
Continue to practice the Pledge in Spanish, numbers 0-29, and days of the
week.
Practice the alphabet in Spanish by using one of two links:
The Alphabet in Spanish (just press this link, it is the first on the list)
The Alphabet in Spanish (this is the same name but is listed third on the
list)
Both will help you hear what each letter is called in Spanish. This will
help you use the sound of the letter correctly in words.

Día 1:
"Sopa del dia" due Day 3
Complete all index cards "fichas" for numbers 0-20. Study these numbers.

Día 3:
If you had a third class this week (Red team will not have this), work on
your "Cabeza del Huevo" (Egghead) at home, for completion by Day 3 of next
week. If you are very artistic, you may draw your own little people to
represent how each feels. On the top, write the question: ¿Qué tal? Include
accents and upside down question mark. Write all Spanish in heavy ink or
colored pencils/markers. Then use your "¿Cómo estás? sheet to fill in how
each person feels IN SPANISH. Begin each SENTENCE with Estoy. Please do not
use "bien", "muy bien", "mal", "muy mal" or "así, así". Use some of the more
challenging expressions. Be sure to write correctly in Spanish, draw neatly,
