Welcome to Grade 8! I am a 6th year teacher at Middlesex and this is my
13th year teaching overall. I can't believe I've been a teacher for 13 years
already! I am not the superstitious type so I'm sure that my 13th year of
teaching will be super lucky:) My previous job was at Western Middle School
in Greenwich, CT where I taught 7th grade English. I am born and raised in
Darien and I still spend lots of time in town so don't be surprised to see me
out and about. I am really excited to be working at Middlesex and I am
looking forward to a fantastic year!
My one mission for my classes this year is to engage students in a love of
literature and a deeper understanding of their writing potential. I expect
all of my students to work to their best potential as I will be doing the
same for them. We will be working hard but in an entertaining way and if
you give me 110% you'll get that much in return.
