Soon we will start our King Arthur legends this week. What do you know about
King Arthur?
1/5/12:Find out all you know about King Arthur the legend and any of his
famous
characters like Sir Lancelot, Guinevere, or Merlin.
1/9/12: Investigate the websites in the packet.
1/11/12: No quizlets until Arthurian legends are done. No homework yet. You
will be graded on your participation in class on listening, researching, and
writing on a daily basis.
119/12: Start working on the Arthurian packet. Pay attention to the
historical facts on pages 6 and 7. If you need any historical details that's
where you will find them.
1/23/12: work on Arthurian legend packet. I will read only 3 pages (3
chapters): either #12, #14, or #16. A picture for each chapter. The legend
must make sense and not be ridiculous in plot, setting, or names. Follow the
rule of 10 historical facts from packet pages 6-7. Legend will be due soon.
1/26/12:Continue work on Arthurian legend. Work on packet. Typed final by 2?
8/12 Wednesday. Follow rules of #12 #14 or #16 font. Times New Roman with a
picture for each chapter. Only three pages long.
2/1/12: Finish the rough draft of Arthurian legend by Thursday 2nd. Three
chapters long: beginning, middle, end each one page long (approximately.) Be
sure you have a snapshot in each chapter. Have surprises, black magic, and
adventure. Double check the packet for all of the requirements for the
legend. Typed copy is due 2/8/12 use Times New Roman #12 font, #14 font, or
#16 font. You must have an original colored picture for each chapter. You may
trace pictures. If you use the internet for pictures they are extra. Your
cover page (title page) may be from the internet if you want.
2/6/12: Make a title page with the title of the legend and your name. You may
have a picture from the internet or one you have drawn. Typed legend due
Wednesday February 8th.
2/7/12: Legend due typed with 3 pictures hand done, title page. Typed at #12,
or #14, or #16.
2/10/12: free write in journal B for 15 solid minutes.
