Mr. Talboys has been at Newfield for 17 years. He is returning as a fourth
grade teacher. In prior years, he was a fifth grade teacher and
Newfield's math facilitator. His interests are skiing, lacrosse,
basketball, backpacking and his children.
He is also the Varsity Head Coach for the Westhill High School Lacrosse team.
He was the FCIAC Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2009
He played last summer at the World Lacrosse Festival in Manchester, England
Students will leave this class as more independent learners. The
class model is based on a synergy of the models of Responsive
Classroom and Kathy Nunley's brain-based learning.
