I grew up in Westchester County and moved to Fairfield County eleven years
ago. I live with my husband, our three children, two frogs, and our little
Pug in Stamford. My hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, crafts, baking and
spending time with my family.
I have a Master's Degree in Special Education, a Bachelor’s Degree
in Elementary Education and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood
Education. This is my 19th year teaching. In the past I have taught pre-
school, special education pre-school, second grade, and I was a resource room
teacher. I am starting my tenth year as a kindergarten teacher at
Northeast.
I am thrilled because this is my dream job! Setting the foundation for a
lifelong love of learning is the most incredible job in the world.
"I teach therefore I am." - Unknown
My goal is to provide a strong foundation and set into motion a lifelong love
of learning. I believe that every single child is gifted; it's just a matter
of unwrapping each child's gift. I also believe that each child is capable of
learning and my goal is to differentiate instruction to meet the individual
needs of each of my students through audio, visual and kinesthetic
learning.
