WELCOME PARENTS! Thank you for visiting my web site. A strong home-school connection is vital to your child's learning.
HAPPY FEBRUARY! I'm sure you've heard by now, Punxutawney Phil saw his shadow, so that means six more weeks of winter, even though it doesn't really feel much like winter. What a difference a year makes!
Please look for a note from me about Valentine's Day.
BRRR...The really cold weather is upon us! Please make sure to send your child with a hat, scarf, mittens or gloves. Just like the mailman says, "Snow, rain, sleet, nothing stops the mailman", and it won't stop us either. We will go out as long as the temperature is above freezing.
SPECIALS-
- Kindly send in a smock for Art class.
- We have P.E. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, please make sure your child wears sneakers on these days.
- We have Library/Media Center on Thursdays. Please make sure your child returns his/her book in a timely manner, so they may check out a new one.
BIRTHDAYS-
When sending in a treat for your child's birthday, please make sure it's a finger food i.e. cupcakes, brownies, cookies. Kindly send in napkins too, please. Juice boxes or small water bottles are optional.
As noted in the Northeast School Handbook, classrooms are not to be used for distributing birthday party invitations. Parents are encouraged to call or mail invitations.
