9/7: Review summer book for test tomorrow. review suggestions from class for
how to perform well on the test.
9/8: Finish reading A Separate Peace by Monday, September 13th. Also,
prepare for the vocab #1 quiz on the same day.
9/13 and 14: Prepare the following for Wednesday the 15th (period 2, due to
the drop, should have this ready for Thursday the 16th). In two well-written
pages, discuss the fragility of human nature in ASP.
9/15: Prepare for essay-based test on ASP. There will be identifications and
short answer responses.
9/17: For the weekend, prepare the following writing piece: In two pages,
discuss Knowles' intent. Basically, what is Knowles trying to say about
human nature or life in ASP?

10/21: Craft a 25 question True/False quiz on subject-verb agreement. The
first 10 questions should revolve around the rules, and the next 15 should be
examples (put true if the sentence has no mistakes, and mark false if it does
have an error). have an answer with it.

Read Junior Links #5, 7, 11, and 13 and take notes. Also, read and do the
five connections assigned in class for the Puritanism overview. All of this
material will be quizzed on Thursday. Have the notes for class then too, as
I will check all of it.

Prep for Vocab 5 quiz for Monday the 22nd.
11/22: Read pages 3-8 (period 1)...Every class must look up the definitions
for the word CRUCIBLE. Then, in one page, relate those definitions to life
and to the events you have so far encounter in the play/Puritanism.
