School Bus Rules

Please be sure your child understands these rules throughout the school year.

School Bus safety is very important for your child's school years!

School Bus Rules

1. Stay back from the street while waiting for the bus.

2. Line up two BIG steps back from the curb.

3. Be a little early for the bus.

4. Hold the rail when you get on the bus.

5. Keep your feet in front of your seat.

6. Stay in your seat, sitting on your bottom.

7. Never put any part of your body out of the bus.

8. Don’t eat or drink on the bus.

9. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.

10.Don’t throw things

11.Speak softly and never shout.

12.Whoever is closest to the front should get off first.

13.Never walk behind the bus, the driver cannot see you.

14.Walk forward 8 steps in front of the bus

15.Make sure you can see the driver, then he or she can see you too.

16.Look both ways if crossing the street.

17.Listen carefully.

18.If no cars are coming, then cross the street.

19.Never run back to the bus, anything can wait until tomorrow.
