Book Buddies

Our weekly get together with our book buddies have become a fast favorite of all the children. Each kindergartner has a fourth grade buddy or two from Mrs. Trenholm's class. Most Mondays we read together but sometimes we will do projects. One day, the fourth graders helped the kindergartners write letters to Santa, real letters not "I want" lists. Our buddies responded to the letters pretending to be Santas. They were great fun and a great learning experience. We will continue to have fun with our buddies the whole year through!
