This will be my 9th year teaching at Orchard Hills school. I'm really looking
forward to working with all of you this school year. I'm passionate about my
job and believe that every student will achieve academic success and will
likewise experience the joy that comes with learning. Furthermore, my students
will become comfortable with being able to persevere when the material becomes
challenging and difficult. This will provide them with a desire to set goals
for themselves and to become responsible for their own learning.
Some notes about myself:
I live in Stratford. My wife Jacqueline and I have been married for 23 years.
We have four children, Nicole 22, Rebecca 18, Danielle 16, and Marc 14. I have
one dog and three cats. I enjoy classical music and played the violin for 20
years. I also enjoy reading, gardening and bike riding. My favorite teams are
the New York Mets in baseball and the New York Jets in football. I
enjoy teaching all subjects, especially social studies and math.
Learning is fun and exciting. Math is so logical, remember to keep it simple
and think about what it is that you are doing. Reading is entertaining,
insightful and just plain fun. The study of history is an exciting adventure.
Writing is an expression of one self. We are
all writers. WAIT AND SEE!
