I have been teaching kindergarten at O.H.S. for 16 years and I look forward to
working with your children!! I have two children, Lauren and Ryan and a cat
named Ella. Lauren is a classical musician, drama director and voice teacher.
She is married to Scott and has a baby girl named Maggie! So I am a Mimi! Ryan
is in his last year of law school, studying immigration law. I love to sing
and am a member of the Greater New Haven Community Chorus. I also love to
travel and spent a few weeks traveling throughout the west. We hiked Zion, Bryce and the Grand
Canyon this summer. I also spent a week on a remote island off the coast of Maine with friends and
family, biking, fishing and hiking. I love teaching and feel honored to have the opportunity to be a
part of your child's education! Our curriculum is very exciting and I personally love to incorporate
learning through music throughout our busy day!
My mission for my students is for them to grow socially, intellectually and
emotionally and feel confident in their abilities. I hope to instill a sense
of autonomy, self reliance and excitement for learning which will serve as a
positive foundation as they progress through elementary school.
