The Brien McMahon Parents Club:   

is pleased to welcome Dr. Susan Marks as their guest speaker on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Center for Global Studies Community Room at Brien McMahon High School.

Dr. Marks, will be addressing current issues facing Norwalk Public Schools and will review Common Core State Standards and discuss the college readiness of Norwalk pupils.

The public is invited to attend this valuable presentation which will be followed by a question and answer session.

The Norwalk Education Foundation :
is hosting their4th Annual Taste for Education event this year. It will take place on March 1 at Aitoro's from 6-8:30. Local restaurants are invited to cook in the kitchens, middle school students make desserts with the help of the NCC culinary chef, high school students will prepare hors d'oeuvres with Whole Foods and we have an auction as well.
