Welcome! Each child is encouraged to be a responsible and caring
member of our class. Each individual takes care of his/her belongings on a daily
basis. The boys and girls are encouraged to make appropriate choices and to be
kind and respectful to everyone.
Room Four uses the blue, green, yellow, and red management system.
Every day, students start the day on the "blue is cool" circle. When a student
receives three verbal warnings from the teacher, the child moves a clothespin
to the green circle on the traffic light. If verbal warnings continue, the
child could move to the yellow circle and finally the red circle. If this
happens a note will be sent home in the folder. After discussing the contents
of the note with your child, please sign the note, and on the next school day
return the note to school in your child's folder.
