About The Teacher

I continue to be excited about working with the wonderful students and
families of the Pumpkin Delight School community!  Each year brings new
experiences that enrich my life!
I am now beginning my 16th year in Milford, with 14 being at Pumpkin!

My wonderful family ~
     My husband was a former Guidance Counselor in New Haven, now retired. 
     My son works for the State of Connecticut.  Our exciting news is a
wedding in May!
     My daughter is an Art teacher at Guilford High School and is a very
talented artist! 
     Our cat, Maggie, is like my shadow, and has been a delight since she came
to us from her previous home.  She knew who was going to spoil her the best!

I am an avid reader and cherish those wonderful summer days with a book!  I
also love to knit!  I especially love shopping for yarn and starting new
projects! What a sense of accomplishment when I actually finish one of the
many ongoing projects! I love knitting with the "PDS Knitters"!  So many
students have become interested knitters!

Our mission is to value and to respect learning.  We will be actively 
engaged in our learning and we will always do our best, because we 
can.
