FRENCH LESSONS

Where: Sherman School room To Be Announced 
When: Oct. 8 thru Dec.17 (no class Nov.26) (Weds, 2:45-3:45)
Grades:  Grades K-2: 2:30-3:00 & grades 3-5: 3:05-3:50
Fee:  10 weeks / $83 (K-2) & $110 (grades 305)
Note:  A minimum of 3 students is necessary to hold this class

Class description: Students K-2 will begin with basic greetings and simple 
phrases. They will help build their vocabulary introduced through songs, 
games, counting and coloring. Students should bring a small folder, paper, 
pencil and crayons or color pencils. 

Class description: Students 3-5 will learn basic greetings and simple 
conversations introduced by through songs, some reading and written work. 
Weekly themes will include colors, numbers, family, clothing, etc. Students 
should bring a small folder, paper, pencil and crayons or color pencils.

SPANISH LESSONS

Where: Mrs. Doscher's classroom (#104) 
When: Sept.24 thru Dec.17 (no class Nov.26) (Weds, 2:45-3:45)
Grades:  3rd – 6th
Fee:  12 weekly sessions for $130 (incldg $10 for materials). If you'd like 
to buy the book, Cuentame for your child, cost is $120 for class + $21 for 
the book. Call Mrs.
Note:  A minimum of 6 students is necessary to hold this class
Class description: Students learn with Gabi the Cat and her adventures, 
through gestures, acting, illustrations and props in a fun and relaxed 
environment!

German for Beginners “Komm, wir sprechen Deutsch!” 
(Let’s speak German!)

Grades 1 - 6

8 lessons starting the week of Monday, Nov. 3, 2008

The class will introduce basic vocabulary and phrases and will talk about 
Europe’s German speaking countries, their traditions and holidays. No prior 
knowledge of German is necessary. Classes will be tailored to the ability 
level of the students.

A minimum of 3 students is required to hold a class. Classes will be held 
from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in Room 108 (Mrs. Shook’s classroom). 

There is some flexibility as to which day of the week classes will be taught 
(Mon - Fri). Please indicate on the form below all days that your child is 
available. The cost per student is $90.00 (incl. $10 for class materials). 

Please return your registration form together with your check made out to 
SPTO (put German in the memo line) by Friday, October 24.  For questions or
