Here are some fun WebQuests to challenge your brain. Each completed WebQuest
is worth up to 5 tickets!! Feel free to enjoy the adventure on your own or
invite a family member or friend to join you! Yes, that's right...you don't
have to work alone!
While you work, be sure to show your work, LABEL your answers, provide the
title of the webquest, and OF COURSE, your name and number. Once you have
completed your work, bring it in and place it in the "Finished" folder of
the "Extra Challenges" bin. I'll take a look at it and will provide a reward
upon completion.
There is no due date, so feel free to work on your WebQuest whenever you find
time!

"OK, here's the deal." The gruff inspector snarled as he spoke to
your team of detectives. "For a long time people have been
blamin' things on the moon! People claim to be crazy because of
it, lovers claim to be under its spell, and even hospitals blame
the full moon for loaded emergency rooms." "Yeah!", one of the
newer members of your team replied flippantly, "So what's new?"
The rest of your team let out a low sigh. Now the whole team was
in for it! "I'll tell you what's new, Mr. Smartypants," the
inspector glowered at each of you slowly, "Now some nutcase has
brought charges against the moon for causing the tides! And, its
your job to bring me proof one way or another!" The inspector
turned back toward his desk and we thought he was through. He
wasn't! He turned back to your team, pointed his finger at you
and said, "And you only have two weeks to solve the case. Now get
started!"
The King of Tides--Science (Earth, Sun, & the Moon)
Your creative design team must come up with a winning bedroom
design on a budget of $500. Since designers must be very good at
math skills, you may be asked to complete a couple of written
tasks to practice your mathematical design abilities. You must
also create a power point proposal communicating your design
ideas, a floor plan using a 1 cm. grid paper, and a budget to
submit to the producers. Remember, you must stay within your
budget!
Create your own bedroom!
