Second grade is trying to adhere to Trumbull nutrition policy. As a result, we ask that you do not send in food treats for your student's birthday. If you would like to send in something, think about pencils, erasers, etc.Back to Top

The second grade teachers feel very strongly that homework should be authentic. We believe that at-home assignments should reinforce the concepts that we are covering in school. The most important concept is the love of reading. That is why most of the allotted homework time is designated for reading. The math assignments are relatively quick reviews of the day's lesson. Practicing and reviewing math facts and spelling words is also invaluable!Back to Top
