Homework is an important part of the fifth grade curriculum! Your child
is responsible for copying the homework assignments into his/her planner each
day.
30/20 is our monthly home reading program in room 17. Your child is
expected to read for at least 30 minutes on at least 20 different days each
month. The reading log is to be filled out by your child and signed by a
parent or guardian before being turned in on or before the last school day of
the month.
Our monthly math facts calendars are also due on or before the last
school day of the month. The expectation is that your child practices
his/her math facts for at least 10 minutes on 10 or more days each
month.
