Mr. Albers graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a B.S. in Physics with
concentration in Astronomy. He received his M.S. in Education from the University of New Haven. The
2011-2012 school year marks his sixth year teaching at Trumbull High School.
"Honors Physics" and "Advanced College Prep Physics" comprise a study of mechanics, electricity,
magnetism, heat, and wave phenomena.
The courses demonstrates the mathematical relationships in basic physics concepts and apply these
relationships to problem solving situations.
During the course, students will:
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific inquiry through class discussions and activities.
- Apply concepts and principles of Physics to demonstrations and laboratory activities.
- Apply concepts and principles of Physics to their everyday life.
