Dear Students and Parents:

Please completed Chapter 17 reading guide graphic organizers.
TAKE-HOME ESSAY:  Was the U.S. expansion and development into a world power a positive, negative decision, or a combination of both for our country and other nations:  Please use information from the video, textbook, reading guides, and graphic organizers to support your position.  Copies of the assignment are on the website, under U.S. History handouts.

ESSAY DUE:  Wednesday, February 8- Counts as a TEST GRADE.

We will also be working in the computer lab to complete an activity on yellow journalism.  This activity will be completed in school.  Activity counts 55 points towards Chapter 17 quiz.

QUIZ:  Terms and people on Chapter 17 on Friday, February 10
