Mr. Kalafus has been teaching at West Shore for 14 years and has been
Exploratory Team leader for the past 7 years. He earned Assiciates degree in
music from Housatonic Community College, his Bachelors degree in Music
Education from the University of Bridgeport and earned his Masters degree
from Southern Connecticut State University. He also attended Musicians
Institute In Los Angeles California where he studied guitar and music theory.
He is currently the musicial director for the band Kicking Daisies and
performs throughout Connecticut and the North East with various bands.
Recently Mr.K played guitar on the new soon to be released Smash Mouth CD.
