The Milford Middle Schools Track Meet is an annual event that takes
place during the last week of school in June. There are six events:
100m, 400m, mile, shot put, long jump, and 4x100 relay. Two girls and
two boys and one alternate for each are selected to compete in each
event. All students are taught the basic skills for each event during PE
class. The top competitors for each grade compete in a school track
meet for the top three spots. Spectators (parents, friends, fans) are
encouraged to come to the track meet to cheer their athletes on. Any
behavioral issues may be grounds for dismissal from the West Shore
Track Team.
