I will be giving a variety of assignments during the 2011-12 academic year.
I understand my students have different learning styles, preferences,
strengths and weaknesses so I like to offer something for everyone! I believe
that we use all subjects in science so don't be surprised
when you see students doing math, writing an essay or researching
history/current events as part of an assignment!
There are 3 websites listed on my page that a student can go to to earn extra
points. These points can be added to their final grade each quarter. A
maximum of 3 extra points can be added to a final grade each quarter.
WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS: Feb 6-10
Monday-
Review pgs 16-21 and answer the following ?:
1. What is a chemical property?
2. What is a chemical change?
3. How do you know a chemical change has occured?
Tuesday
Daily log to list physical and chemical changes for one day. Must have at
least 2 each.
Wednesday
Review text and all materials for Thursday's quiz on phyical and chemical
changes in matter
No homeworkfor Thursday/Friday
