Read up to page 102 in Maniac Magee.

Ongoing:
1. Read an average of 20 minutes per night and fill out Reading Log. Due 2/3.
2. Book Talks every friday.
3. Shrinklet due March 2.

1. Read an average of 20 minutes per night and fill out Reading Log. Due 2/3.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IMPORTANT Reading Log info for periods 3 and 6:
At least two summary sentences are required every time you read your 20 minutes. Longer periods of reading should have longer summaries! A good rule of thumb is about one sentence for every 10 minutes of reading. Someone who did not read the book should be able to understand in general what happened in your book.
A parent signature is required!
You should be reading books at a sixth grade level, from beginning to end.
