Attention Students - there is a new procedure
for accessing your school folder from home.
Follow the directions below after clicking on the Work
from Home link.
You might want to print out this page before
clicking on the link.
Work
from Home
1. Click on the office program that your
document was created by (ex. Microsoft Word)
2. Click Connect
3. Type the word district\ and your
school user name
(The
slash key \ is located above the Enter key. Your user name =
lastnamefirstname)
4. Type in your school password (Your
password = first initial + 5 numbers of your lunch code) Click Ok. It will
then connect you and open the program. (This might take some time.)
5. Click the colorful Office Button at the
top left and scroll to Open
6. Click Computer in the left column under Favorite

(you may need to scroll down) and click Open
8. Select the folder for the year you will
graduate from high school and click Open
9. Select the folder with your name and
click Open
10. Double click on the document you wish
to open
(If you save documents in separate subject
folders, you will first have to double click on the folder to open it.)
11.
When you have completed your work, click the colorful Office Button at
the top left and scroll to Save As
12. Make sure your name (or folder name) is at the
top of the Save As box and click Save
IMPORTANT: A TS Web
Access error box may pop up telling you that the ActiveX
control is
not available on your computer. It will have to be installed and enabled
before you can access remote programs. Click on this
ActiveX
Control link
to download directions for enabling the ActiveX control.
NOTE: MAC Users - The Work from Home process
is currently NOT working with the MAC. Our Tech Department is in the process
of creating a terminal server client that will allow this to work on a MAC. A
message to MAC Users will be posted on this page when you may start accessing Work
from Home with a MAC.
