Koryeo celadon pieces are very distinctive (as opposed to say, blue and white pottery) in that their mysterious beauty reveals itself as time goes by. ALL -    On a piece of looseleaf give the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution of the story. Also give three vivid adjectives to describe each main character in your book (6th - Timothy and Phillip, 7th, Tree Ear, Crane Man and  Min, 8th Gene and Phineas) and 5 new words you learned while reading the book with their definitions.
On another sheet write a summary of a current event story you followed over the course of 3-5 days during the summer in a newspaper or news magazine. Try to follow a story from beginning to end, give dates and source.

SUMMER IN A CAN - save mementos of your summer in an empty coffee (or similar) can. They will act as similes and metaphors for your summer that will bring back vivid images and allow you to share your memories with us. No dead bugs or old food, please!
