Welcome Back!
August 2011
Dear Fourth Grader,
September is almost here! It is my pleasure to welcome you and your
family to the fourth grade this year. I look forward to meeting you! The
first day of school for students is August 29, 2011. I can’t wait to learn
about you and your family!
As you may know, my family includes a loving husband and two wonderful
sons (ages 14 and 18). I have been very fortunate to spend the last several
years at Clayton Elementary. Prior to that time, I was on-loan to the
Delaware Department of Education as the Teacher Co-Director of the Delaware
Writing Project. I am also a Delaware Reading and Writing Project Teacher
Consultant and finished my administration certificate. Every year, I
participate in many professional development courses. So, I can’t wait to
share the exciting educational activities with you. I am looking forward to
assisting you with your many achievements this year!
As you can see, I included a list of school supplies. Please purchase
the “General 4th Grade and Other Must Have Items” within the first two weeks
of school. You may also like to have the “Extra Items” for yourself each day.
