 how often do we have homework?
homework is assigned on every monday and wednesday.

 what other kinds of assignments besides homework will we have?
each week we will work on a lab or "hands-on" kind of assignment or something 
oriented towards research/ investigation.

 how often do we have tests?
folder tests occur at the end of each marking period and they review all the 
hw assignments for that time.  unit tests occur at the end of each of our 4 
units.  periodic testing occurs in between to assess learning.

 what are the four units of study?
we begin the year with "Energy", continue with "Weather" and then "Astronomy" 
and conclude with the "Ecosystems" unit.

1. Student maintains a folder for review purposes.
2. Student comes to class ready to receive instruction.
3. Student keeps a learning log/science journal for observations and data 
collection.
4.Student is responsible for making up work for their absences.
5. Student records posted assignments in their agenda books.
