We are coming to the end of another school year. We still have some great things to do. It has been a pleasure working with all the students at POCS this year and look forward to working with them again next year.
Just a reminder:
Students will need to complete all projects by June 6th to ensure that they receive the best grade possible.
We will review for final exams in art which will include terms, vocabulary, recognizing artist we have learn about this year, and class procedures covered for projects.
8th grade is currently working on a Surrealism collage. If you or they have any magazines that are available to cut up, student will receive extra credit points for bringing them in to share with the class.
9th and 10th grades are working on contrast and will be making linoleum block prints that include pattern in their design.
11th grade is learning presently working on a drawing lesson that helps them learn about proportion. Then they will be working on their individual art project that they have sellected. If any student does not have a project to work on, they will be given a project to complete that is selected by the teacher.
