When can I meet my teachers?
You may come by the school at any time during regular school
hours. Also, new student orientation is Thursday, August 26,
2010 and the 1st student day/back-2-school bar-b-q is on Tuesday,
August 31, 2010.
When does school start?
On August 31, 2010 student will be in class for 1/2 day and then
have a Back-2-School Bar-B-Que in the afternoon.
Parents/Relatives are invited.
When is our 1st school break?
Labor Day - September 6, 2010
Can my parents/guardian visit me at school?
Sure, Mrs. Exum welcomes parent/guardian visits.
Will we work in Math?
Yes. As Mr. Powers says "Every school day that ends in Y".
Will we have math homework?
Yes. Homework will be given to help students practice Math
problems at home two to four nights each week. No homework will
be assigned on Fridays, unless you have make-up work to complete.
Positive Outcomes has many tutoring hours this year. Students
may attend Math Tutoring for additional help Monday through
Thursday beginning in September.

Do Mrs. Exum give extra credit work/assignments?
No. I expect all students to indulge in the opportunity to
complete regular classroom assignments, homework, projects and
quizzes to the best of their ability, therefore extra credit is
not needed! There is additional help available for students to
complete their work through tutoring and asking questions, so
please, please, please take advantage of those opportunities,
so that you are not overly concerned about E-X-T-R-A!!!
