I am from Mississippi and relocated to Delaware, with my husband.
I am a certified Business, Math and Special Education Teacher with the state
of Delaware. I began teaching Middle School Math at Positive Outcomes in
2007. I previously taught under my Business Education License in
Mississippi (for 2 years). I have worked with children in various
capacities for several years.
I graduated from Mississippi Valley State University as a Distinguished
Scholar with a B.S. degree in Business Administration in 2000. I began
working on my Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Delta State
University in Cleveland, Mississippi and will be completing that very soon.
My mission for the Middle School Math Class is to...
* enhance the students' current mathematical knowledge,
* increase the students' mathematical thinking skills, and
* enjoy the art of teaching and learning.
My goal is to prepare students for the experiences, challenges and obstacles
that mathematically lie ahead - both near and far.
I expect all of my students to...

I expect all students to adhere to our school handbook, school rules and
classroom rules. I expect every student to work hard and to his/her full
potential. I expect every student that I teach to pass my Math class
with an A, B or C.
I believe that if my students do the above things, they
will be successful as current students and as future adults!
