About The Teacher

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Katie Flanagan. I am the first grade
teacher at St. Ann school. I graduated from the University of Delaware with
an education degree and I am a graduate of St. Marks High School. This will
be my 11th year teaching in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington. I taught
first grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and took off to spend time
with my son Riley. I returned to teaching at St Ann School in 2007. I am
married to Patrick Flanagan and I have two beautiful boys. Riley who is in
first grade and Patrick who is one year old. I also have a wonderful step
daughter Bailey. I am bursting with excitement as I return to St.
Ann school for my sixth year. I am honored to be a part of the St. Ann
community and I look forward to teaching God's most precious gift to us all,
our children.

My name is Kathy Watson, I am the assistant in the 1st grade classroom. I
graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College and
have a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I began working as a
teacher in a preschool classroom when my third child went to preschool. My
husband has been a lifelong member of St. Ann's parish and is a graduate of
the school. I have three children, one attends Salesianum, one attends Padua,
and one who goes to Cab Calloway. I am thrilled to be a part of
such a wonderful and caring school and look forward to assisting with the
education of your children!
