I am excited about beginning another school year (my fifth) at Saint Ann
School. A graduate of the University of Delaware, I have a Bachelor's degree
in Secondary English Education and a minor in Spanish. I recently returned to
UD and earned my Master's degree in Instruction with a concentration on
literacy. The Catholic education that I received at Our Lady of Fatima
School and Padua Academy gave me the solid foundation that I needed to
succeed in college and in life. I am proud to have the opportunity to build
that same foundation for the students at Saint Ann's.
My mission for our classes is for the students to learn more than proper
punctution, verb usage, or poetic devices. Through our study of these
topics, I want us to learn greater lessons; the benefits of hard work, the
importance of working together, and the value of respect. In addition, I
want to instill in the students a love of learning and of reading. I hope
that they will find that learning can be fun.
