About The Teacher

Welcome to the Kindergarten Classroom! My name is Jennifer Nolan. This is my
sixth year at St. Ann School. It is such a wonderful experience teaching
here along with my assistant teacher, Colleen Albensi. It is great to have
someone to work with that has had so many experiences at St. Ann School. I
am a graduate of the University of Delaware. I was originally from
Westchester County, New York. While I was in New York I taught as an
assistant teacher in a kindergarten classroom for a year and a half. I moved
to Delaware in December of 2005 to prepare for my wedding here in Delaware.
I obtained a long term substitute position in a third grade classroom at
Providence Creek Charter Academy in Clayton, Delaware. I loved teaching
third grade but I missed working with the kindergarten age group. I also
wanted to work in a Catholic School where I could teach children about the
Catholic faith. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school.
I currently live in Delaware with my husband, Michael, and our three wonderful
children, Emma Catherine and Kaitlyn May who are four years old and now in
Pre-K and our baby boy named Michael who is two years old. I am looking
forward to having the opportunity to work with the parents as well as all the
students of St. Ann's School to help the children become life-long learners
in the Catholic faith.

Kindergarten Mission Statement

Our mission for the class is to create a positive Christian learning
environment where children can learn academics as well as how to be a
successful person in our society today. We want our children to love learning
and become life-long learners.
